Dr. Sood was born in Delhi, India, and grew up in Miami, Florida, where she developed a love for learning, connecting with people, and embracing different cultures. She completed a double major in Biology and Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Miami before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University in NYC. After dental school, she completed her General Practice Residency at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey, where she expanded her clinical skills and gained experience caring for patients with a variety of dental needs. She specializes in comprehensive dental care with a focus on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. What she loves most about dentistry is the opportunity to connect with her patients and make a real difference in their lives. She especially enjoys helping anxious patients feel relaxed, heard, and comfortable — turning what may feel like a stressful visit into a positive experience. She loves building genuine relationships with her patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. She believes that taking the time to listen, educate, and provide compassionate care makes all the difference. She also truly enjoys working alongside a supportive team that shares the same commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She speaks English, Hindi, and Spanish, which lets her connect with an even wider range of patients. Being part of this practice has allowed Dr. Sood to do what she loves while continuing to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on her patients’ lives. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys dancing, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures.
